Undergraduate Global Business Experience
Georgetown McDonough undergraduates interested in gaining a global perspective while learning valuable consulting skills may apply to participate in BADM 290: Global Business Experience. This three-credit course gives students the opportunity to conduct a substantive consulting project for an international business or organization (private, public, or nonprofit) under faculty supervision.
The course culminates in a major project for which students travel to the client countries for one week during spring break. Students study the particularities of the consulting project in the host country and present their findings to senior management.
We offer four sections of BADM 290, and students have the choice of traveling to one of these sites. Only Global Business Fellows (GBF) from the McDonough School of Business and School of Foreign Service travel to Barcelona, Spain. Other McDonough juniors and seniors have the choice of applying and traveling to France and Argentina. The application deadline is 12:00PM on Monday, October 21, 2019. Click the links below to apply:
