Q: What does Georgetown look for in an EMBA applicant?
A: We look for applicants who are aligned with our values and our mission to have a positive impact on society, who are collaborative and team players, and who we believe will add value to their class and to the larger Georgetown community.
Q: How important is my undergraduate degree GPA?
A: The Admissions Committee takes a holistic approach to admissions, which means that while all components of the application are evaluated and taken into consideration, no one piece is more important than another. Your undergraduate GPA will be looked at together with your professional achievements, recommendations, master's degree transcripts, etc.
Q: How long does the admissions process take?
A: We have a rolling admissions process which means that, until the final application deadline, we will review applications when they are submitted. After you’ve submitted your application (if everything is complete), you will hear back from us within 1-3 weeks to let you know whether or not you have been invited to interview. If you are invited to interview, it will take us another 1-3 weeks to get back to you with a final decision.
