Full-time MBA students have the opportunity to pursue an Honors Certificate Program with the Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy (IBD) through Georgetown's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
The Landegger Program trains you for work at the intersection of international public and private sector activities. If accepted into this highly competitive, interdisciplinary program, you will enhance your MBA studies with such areas as international relations, political economy, and international trade. IBD classes combine an intensive case method approach to global corporate operations with an analysis of key economic and political issues in international trade, finance, and investment.
Interested students may attend an information session in the fall of their first year to learn more. The application deadline for the program is also in the fall. Accepted MBA students then take a Landegger Program gateway course in the spring of their first year. Those students who complete this course with an honors grade (A or A-) proceed with additional IBD requirements and courses at Georgetown McDonough, at the School of Foreign Service, and through other Georgetown University graduate programs.
