U.S. News Ranks McDonough 9th for MSF

U.S. News & World Report listed Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business 9th in its annual ranking of online graduate business degrees.

The ranking measures a composite score for all non-MBA online programs offered by a school. McDonough was recognized for its blended Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree, and when only listing schools that offer an online MSF, Georgetown ranks 4th on the list.

“Georgetown’s MSF combines the best of what students expect from a top-tier graduate education – flexibility, access to the school’s best faculty, and signature experiences like the global consulting project – in a blended format,” said Professor of Finance Allan Eberhart, who also is director of the MSF program and senior associate dean for technology-intensive education. “Our Anytime Media delivery platform also enhances learning by providing additional tools to help students understand the often complex lessons.”

For the ranking, U.S. News evaluated online programs (excluding MBAs) from multiple business disciplines in the areas of student engagement, admissions selectivity, student services and technology, faculty credentials and teaching, and peer assessment.
