MBA Students Celebrate Its Diversity at International Festival

December 10, 2012

The MBA Student Government Association (SGA) hosted its third-annual International Festival Saturday, December 1, at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

“The international festival celebrates who we are at Georgetown,” said Michael Gart (MBA ‘13). “Thirty-five percent of our students are international, and this event is a chance for us to embrace, celebrate, and appreciate the diversity that makes up our student body.”

From Colombian to Uruguayan, attendees enjoyed food from more than 20 countries. The night also featured performers representing 10 different countries. From American Folk to Korean Pop (see: Gangnam Style) – the crowd of 350 students, staff, and families was entertained until the last minute.
