Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Meets with Executive MBA Students

His Excellency Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, addressed students, faculty, staff, and guests at Georgetown University on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, in the university’s Gaston Hall on “Foreign Policy and Turkish–U.S. Partnership in the 21st Century.” (View webcast.)  Following his remarks, Davutoğlu met with students from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business and School of Foreign Service.

Davutoğlu is shown above (center) with McDonough School of Business Deputy Dean Ricardo Ernst (far left) and students in the McDonough School of Business Executive MBA program. These students will be traveling to Turkey in the spring to provide consulting services to Turkish businesses and organizations as part of their second Global Residency overseas. The EMBA Turkey Global Residency is organized by Sezer Ulku (back row, third from left), assistant professor of operations and information management, and Valeria Ballegamba (back row, second from left), assistant dean for academic planning.

The students also will attend a private reception at the residence of Turkey’s Ambassador to the United States in January.
