New Global Undergraduate Student Group Launched

December 22, 2011

Undergraduate students launched a new group on campus in the fall. The McDonough Global Student Association (MGSA) – the first international business student group – held its inaugural event on November 28. Norean Sharpe, senior associate dean, and Ricardo Ernst, professor of operations and information management, delivered remarks to undergraduate students, faculty, and staff as well as representatives from the Office of International Programs and Career Education Center. The MGSA’s mission is to assist international students with academic transition and adjustment, career preparation, job search and interviewing skills, and provide opportunities for students to develop strong networks, and engage with alumni.
