New Ranking Lists Georgetown’s MBA Full-Time Program 23rd
December 16, 2010
In its inaugural ranking of full-time MBA programs, Poets & Quants has named Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business 23rd in the United States.
To arrive at their list, Poets & Quants considers how the schools were ranked in five of the most prominent MBA rankings, which they believe equalizes statistical anomalies that are presented in any one ranking. The final ranking was a weighted composite of Businessweek (30 percent), The Economist (10 percent), the Financial Times (15 percent), Forbes (25 percent), and U.S. News & World Report (20 percent).
Data gathered across the rankings includes surveys of corporate recruiters, MBA graduates, and deans; faculty publication citations; GPA and GMAT scores for entering students; and salary and employment statistics for the latest graduating class.
