Washington, D.C. -- The United States Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board recently announced that Georgetown University faculty members Stanley D. Nollen and Abbe L. Smith have been awarded Fulbright Scholar grants to lecture and conduct research overseas for the 2005-2006 academic year.

"I am pleased to recognize the contributions these faculty are making in their fields," said Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia. "I look forward to their continued success as they work to foster mutual understanding between the United States and countries around the world."
