What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? I was impressed with the faculty’s commitment to assisting students in their studies. I also was intrigued with the requirement to take classes in the college to ensure students are well-rounded and have the opportunity to explore other areas of study.

What are the best things about being a Hoya? I appreciate the close community here on the hilltop. I can walk into the dining hall for lunch or dinner without coordinating with anyone and always find friends from class or clubs with whom I can eat.

Why do you love D.C.? I grew up in suburban New Jersey which is not the most exciting at times. In D.C. there is no shortage of sights, activities, or events throughout the semester. In my first year at Georgetown I have seen an NBA game, been to the monuments, and eaten at many amazing restaurants.

Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? In my Advanced Spanish courses, we have had debates about the effects of the presidential election on immigration laws and how many people this could potentially affect in the near future.

What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? I would recommend that all incoming Hoyas engage in activities that intrigue them regardless of whether or not it coincides with one’s intended major or career path.
