Interesting Fact about Me: During the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to study abroad for a month in Hong Kong with Georgetown. I spent the remaining two months of my summer backpacking across ten countries in Asia including Thailand, Malaysia, and Nepal.

What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? I chose the McDonough School of Business because of its outstanding academics, the amazing staff who work here, and the countless opportunities it has to offer to its students.

What are the best things about being a Hoya? My favorite thing about being a Hoya is the community that I have become a part of. Whenever I wear my Georgetown t-shirt, I have almost always been called out by a fellow Hoya regardless of where I am in the world. The bond is instant and the connection is long-lasting which is why I would consider the hilltop my home away from home.

Why do you love D.C.? My favorite thing about D.C. is that I have never had a difficult time looking for something to do. I have done anything and everything from bowling in the White House to trick-or-treating on Embassy Row. You are also bound to run into a few familiar faces such as President Obama & Uncle Joe.

Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? I used to live on a global living learning community floor my sophomore year where half of the residents were international students and the other half were from the states. That year, I discovered my desire to travel which, paired with a Georgetown education, opened up a ‘world’ of possibilities.

What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? I would advise incoming Hoyas to explore opportunities and activities outside of their comfort zone. Take an art class, join an interesting organization, talk to random people. College is the perfect place to explore more about yourself.
