What are the best things about being a Hoya? The spirit that a Hoya possesses, the privileged campus location and diversity on it, as well as the student life quality through organizations where you will meet lifelong friends.
Why do you love D.C.? D.C. is the capital of the United States where most of the political panorama occurs which I am very interested in. Moreover, having a city with so many historical sites makes you appreciate American culture to an extent that no other state can give you.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? During fall semester of my first year, I wrote an op-ed article suggesting a reconstructive policy to help shape the economic situation in my home country. This helped me get feedback from various persons that read the article and has incentivized me to publish it on a national scale.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? Although you may sometimes feel overwhelmed by the opportunities and work you must do, always try to find some time for personal nourishment.
