What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? Besides the incredible community of students and faculty here, McDonough provides students with an outstanding education with endless opportunities to pursue. As a finance major who entered with a passion for investment banking and real estate, there is an incredible network of finance and real estate professionals, incredible recruiting opportunities, and wonderful career advising.

What are the best things about being a Hoya? Have you had a Chicken Madness yet? If not, I’ll have to introduce you to Wisemiller’s – it changed my life. Also – you have to see Riggs Library. That’s where the picture above is from.

Why do you love D.C.? The architecture, history, and scenery is incredible. Whether it’s a run around the monuments, a trip to one of the numerous museums, or an afternoon in the city, there is so much to do

Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? There are so many examples I could share, however one thing I have appreciated the most is application of guest speaker events to classroom education. This past fall I heard from Dan Price, the CEO of Gravity payments, and he spoke about his story and his decision to start the base salaries at his company at 70k. This lecture tied in directly to what I was learning in Organizational Behavior. It was fascinating to see the connections and the real life applicability of the information.

What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? Have fun and learn from others! You’re going to have a great time. Seek out me and others to learn how you can best optimize your time at Georgetown.
