What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? The McDonough School of Business offers a great balance between a liberal arts and business education. There is a large emphasis placed on teamwork, which fosters a collaborative learning experience with your peers and professors.

What are the best things about being a Hoya? The stellar location of Georgetown’s campus! We are in a beautiful sector of DC that is home to many delicious places to eat a variety of foods. Planning to meet my friends at the campus gates and going to a new restaurant is something I look forward to each week.

Why do you love D.C.? There is so much to do when you have free time. I really enjoy biking and have discovered bike trails that take you all over Maryland and Virginia. If you are free, going on an adventure in and around DC will open your eyes as to how unique the area really is.

Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? One of my Finance professors worked on Wall Street prior to the recent financial crisis, then transitioned to work on regulatory processes at the FED in order to help analyze what went wrong to prevent another crisis in the near future. Connecting his experience with the classroom material resulted in an exciting learning environment.

What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? Get involved with your professors, peers, and in extracurricular activities! The Georgetown community is very open, supportive, and loves to help others. There is something for everyone to get involved in to enhance their Georgetown Experience.
