What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business? I chose the McDonough School of Business because I knew I wanted to be at a school that was going to challenge me academically and offered an international perspective.
What are the best things about being a Hoya? I like the endless opportunities to participate in clubs and organizations at Georgetown and the diverse student body that allows you to meet people from all over the world.
Why do you love D.C.? I love the mix between the active city center of Washington D.C. and the more relaxed neighborhood of Georgetown.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment? I worked with three other students in my accounting class to submit a recommendation regarding buying, holding, or selling a company’s stock. I was challenged to use my knowledge from class to then draw my own conclusions about a company’s stability based on financial information. This is something I have never done before and developed this semester.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas? Even if it seems like no one else is having a tough time adjusting to college, everyone is experiencing a big change in their life whether they show how hard that is or not to others.
