Hi! My name is Bianca DiSanto and I am a McDonough peer ambassador. Hometown: Harrisburg, PA Class: 2017 Major:Marketing & International Business
Georgetown University Women in Leadership Marketing Committee Member, intermural soccer, and occasional opinion writer for The Hoya.

What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business?
I choose McDonough because of its commitment to pairing theory and real world experience in a completely global context.
What are the best things about being a Hoya?
The best thing about being a Hoya is the people that surround you on a daily basis. You will come to learn just as much from your peers as you will from your professors; I have never been in a more exciting environment where everyone is passionate about learning all that they can!
Why do you love D.C.?
There is a palpable sense that you are always in the midst of big things happening. I have found it almost impossible to be bored while living in DC.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment?
For me, the most transformative educational experience happens outside the classroom while working in the infamous group projects. There is no better feeling than when a group of people that don’t know each other are able to come together and find a way to deliver exceptional work, and I find it happens for every project I work on at Georgetown.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas?
Georgetown is going to be nothing like what you expect to be, but everything you need it to be. The best advice I can give is to try anything at least once and be open to all of the new experiences that are waiting for you at the hilltop!
