Interesting Fact About Me:
I did classical ballet for 8 years, starting at age 9. I was in the Nutcracker with the Connecticut Concert Ballet for 5 years in a row, from 2007 until 2011.
What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business?
I chose the McDonough School of Business because of its location in DC, as well as the strength of the business program itself. The faculty is incredibly talented and committed to students.
What are the best things about being a Hoya?
Hoyas have so much passion for everything they do. My favorite part about being a Hoya is being surrounded by other passionate and devoted people. The community at Georgetown is truly a special one that I am proud to be a part of.
Why do you love D.C.?
In one word- FOOD! I love exploring other cultures through their food. There is no shortage of interesting food options in DC.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment?
In my first year seminar, The Ethics of Entrepreneurship, my group got the opportunity to run a business. At first we were completely overwhelmed with the thought of running a business as first year’s, but we all amazed ourselves with what we could accomplish.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas?
Don’t worry too much if you don’t get accepted to some of those “elite” clubs. I didn’t, but I found all sorts of activities that I absolutely love!
