What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business?
I was fortunate enough to go on a recruiting trip to Georgetown, and sat in on Business school classes during it. When I had to make my college decision I thought back to how comfortable I felt at Georgetown and in the business school. It was an easy decision.
What are the best things about being a Hoya?
The people I get to share being a Hoya with! I could not imagine my Georgetown experience without these impressive, inspiring and amazing people I have come to know as my family on the Hilltop!
Why do you love D.C.?
It’s a beautiful city with every opportunity imaginable at our fingertips. My favorite part of D.C. however is that there is always something new and amazing to discover each and every day I venture around and outside of Georgetown.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment?
Being asked to be my professor’s TA after taking auditing during my junior spring helped me realize that my professor had confidence in me and valued my hard work. This is something I’ve lost sight of in Georgetown’s difficult academic atmosphere but something that certainly helped give me better confidence to believe in my academic ability.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas?
The best way to make the most of your experience here at Georgetown is to not be afraid to go outside your comfort zone. By going outside your comfort zone you will grow in ways you never could have imagined!
