What made you choose Georgetown's McDonough School of Business?
I decided to attend the McDonough School of Business because of its international focus of both coursework and majors. Staffed with experienced professors from all over the world I chose McDonough to develop professional skills and use the network established to find a career path best suited for my skills.
What are the best things about being a Hoya?
The best part about being a Hoya is that no matter what kind of personality you have you can always find a group of friends just like you, a club for all of your interests, and a group of friends that make the hilltop feel like home.
Why do you love D.C.?
I love D.C. because there is never a dull day living in the capital of our country. With countless amazing restaurants to chose from, all 4 professional sports games to see, ex-presidents and politicians to run in to on the street or hear speak in our Gaston hall, its hard to let a day go by without experiencing something new in D.C.
Share a defining and/or transformative classroom/educational moment?
When I arrived at Georgetown I had no Excel knowledge or ambition to pursue coursework in modeling, but after taking the one credit OPIM 170 course first semester I became fascinated with excel modeling and the modeling classes I have taken since have been some of my most rewarding classes.
What is your advice to incoming Hoyas?
My advice for income Hoyas would be to try anything and everything that you can in the classroom, at the club fair and off campus. My best friends at Georgetown and clubs I spend the most time, such as the Grilling Society for me, I never would have thought to join or expected to love so much before getting to the hilltop.
