Just-in-Time Hiring

The McDonough Career Center serves both Flex and Full-time MBA program students in addition to students from McDonough’s many other graduate and executive degree programs. We offer the flexibility for your organization to recruit the type of talent you seek in a timeline that fits your needs. Interviewing Students

Annually, the McDonough Career Center facilitates more than 1,000 on-campus and virtual interviews. To maximize candidate engagement with your hiring timeline, we recommend contacting our team at least one month prior to your desired interview date. We also provide virtual interviewing capabilities that allow you to access our top MBA talent in a cost-effective, flexible, and convenient format. The McDonough School of Business’ Rafik B. Hariri Building provides 179,000 square feet for teaching, learning, and interaction. The facility offers students and recruiters access to lecture spaces for events and presentations, 9 interview rooms, and a Recruiters’ Lounge. To maximize their brand on campus, top hiring employers take a multi-faceted approach when engaging with our students. Student Organizations

The Georgetown McDonough School of Business offers a diverse range of student organizations with professional and interest-oriented missions. The McDonough Career Center can connect your organization with appropriate student groups to facilitate participation in student-led events, including Career Days and Career Treks.

Events

For a more personalized and tailored on-campus presence, employers have the option of hosting student-facing events. These often take the form of information sessions, case competitions, workshops, networking receptions, and more. We encourage you to work with the McDonough Career Center to plan and promote events that supports targeted student engagement while aligning with your hiring goals. Career Days

Career Days are informational, on-campus events with a specific industry or functional focus, including marketing, healthcare, finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, operations, and energy. Employers who participate in Career Days have the opportunity to represent their organization as a key industry player and introduce students to new career paths and opportunities in their field. Co-organized by the student organizations and Industry Practice Leaders, Career Days typically are scheduled on Fridays during the fall semester. Career Trek

The McDonough Career Center can collaborate with your organization to plan student visits to your employment site. Treks offer a unique supplement to the traditional on-campus information session, allowing you to directly showcase your workplace culture to a targeted group of inspired students. Treks have brought groups of five to 50+ students to employer destinations including New York, London, San Francisco, Tokyo, Boston, Hong Kong, Washington, D.C., and more.
