Summer Webinar Series

The Summer Webinar Series is the first portion of the Job Search Course. Beginning the summer before you arrive, the Summer Webinar Series consists of three webinars detailing the creation of three deliverables that serve as the beginning of your career marketing portfolio.

Career Deliverables Review

We have designated a set of deliverables that will prepare you for the important stages in the job search:

Job Search Course

The remainder of the Job Search Course covers topics such as personal branding, networking, job search communication, interviewing, and recruitment timelines. This content is delivered in a hybrid format in the second half of the summer prior to the start of fall classes.

Career Coaching

Our team of dedicated, certified career management coaches facilitate your individual career strategy. All incoming full-time students will receive a first coaching conversation in the summer prior to the start of opening term upon the completion of their deliverables. Regular coaching appointments occur throughout the two-year program.

Ongoing Workshops and Curriculum

Students have access to numerous workshops, programs, and alumni speakers to reinforce our content and provide real-time job search situations and feedback. Workshops and programs include Mock Interview Days, Career Fair Prep Bootcamp, Offer Negotiations Workshop, Career Clarification, and more.

Job Search Course

We want our Flex students to have an effective transition to their new work, life, and school balance by focusing all of their efforts into their studies in the first semester. The remainder of the Job Search Course begins in January of the second semester of your first year. The topics covered include job search communication, networking, interviewing, and understanding all the resources at your disposal via the MBA Career Center. The course continues on with one installment each semester so that Flex students can partake in formal post-MBA recruitment during their third or final year.

Career Coaching

Flex students will begin their career coaching following their first Job Search Course module in January of their first year. Regular coaching appointments are available throughout the remainder of your program. Evening appointment hours are available.

Career Advancement Course

We know many Flex students enroll in the MBA program to advance their careers. To maximize the benefit of your degree, we provide career advancement workshops to help students understand their strengths, identify strategic opportunities, develop emotional intelligence, and enhance their executive presence.
