Georgetown MBA Advances to 17th in the Bloomberg Businessweek Ranking

Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the Georgetown McDonough Full-time MBA 17th in its 2021 Best B-Schools Ranking, up two positions from the last ranking in 2019.

“Our MBA program continually innovates its offerings to maximize the success of our students,” said Prashant Malaviya, senior associate dean for MBA programs. “Just in the last year, we launched a new MBA Mentorship Program that matches students with alumni mentors to counsel them on their future whole-life experiences; an enhanced Hoyas Helping Hoyas campaign where alumni help match students with internship and job opportunities; and Operation: Cura Personalis to ensure we are looking after the total well-being of our community. These and other similar initiatives have contributed to the education, career preparedness, and growth of our students.”

The ranking continues to measure schools in the categories of compensation, learning, networking, and entrepreneurship, as well as a new diversity metric added to the methodology this year. Results are based on surveys of alumni, students, and corporate recruiters, as well as employment data provided by schools.

Georgetown McDonough continues to rank high in the learning category at #16. In the other areas ranked last year, McDonough saw improvements, advancing two positions to 16th in networking, one position to 19th for compensation, and 12 positions to 18th for entrepreneurship.
