Silvia Veitia Smith is the president of Yorkshire Advisory Group, a certified women-owned company focused on financial analysis, M&A and project management. She has worked domestically and throughout Latin America with public and private sector clients in
the energy, water, transportation, infrastructure, banking and real estate industries. Silvia has been a member of the MAAC since 2019. In 2023 she joined fellow MAAC and MBA’98 classmates in establishing the first class MBA Scholarship and Entrepreneurship
fund. She is the McDonough School of Business Miami Alumni Ambassador and an active alumni interviewer. Silvia has an MBA from Georgetown and three Bachelors degrees from the University of Delaware. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese and Italian and lives with her husband and two daughters in Miami Beach.
