What are you doing this summer?

I am helping Amazon build a model to identify private label product opportunities and prioritize their launch across the retail business.

How does your internship relate to your professional or personal interests?

Working for Amazon in the finance team correlates directly to my prior experience and helps me prepare for projects on a bigger scale, specifically in the corporate finance arena.

How did you find the internship?

I found it through McDonough Career Center. They helped me tailoring my resume and coached me to speak the “Amazonian language”. Without the Career Center help, my summer would probably have been a different story.

What’s the most interesting or impactful aspect of your internship?

The most interesting thing I have found in Amazon is the confluence between very intelligent people, efficient and lean work, a strong peculiar culture, and willingness to help across teams.

What else should we know?

I have been very lucky to land in a great team with awesome people during the summer. There are many perks of being an “Amazonian”, and one of them is to work surrounded by dogs, lots of them!
