LEARN MORE ABOUT A GEORGETOWN MBA

Each year, our students spend their summers in Washington, D.C., across the nation, and around the world working in corporate, nonprofit, and government organizations. This month, we’re featuring Full-time MBA students with particularly interesting summer internships.

Preetham Niranjan (MBA’19)

MBA Summer Associate, Prodigy Finance
New York, New York

What are you doing this summer?

Given the startup culture prevalent at Prodigy, I have worked on a wide array of projects — market research, product design, product launch playbook, quantifying customer engagement, data analytics for various teams — and I’m currently working on a market-sizing project for new markets.

How does Prodigy Finance relate to your professional or personal interests?

The fintech startup nature of the firm and the product management nature of the internship resonated with my interest in finance and product management. And I had vested interest in Prodigy Finance given the relationship I had built with them over the past year.

How did you find the internship?

I was already involved with Prodigy Finance as an ambassador and also did a consulting assignment with them. I loved the people, culture, and the work, and it was only a matter of building on my relationships to land the internship.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve done so far this summer?

I played guitar with a random street performer in Central Park.
