As President John J. DeGioia recently shared with the Georgetown community, Commencement will be held virtually this year with a two-part ceremony. The first part will be a university-wide degree conferral to be held at 12 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Then, Georgetown schools will hold separate name recognition ceremonies immediately afterward.

At McDonough, each academic program will have its own ceremony. Individual programs will contact graduates with more information about how to connect to these celebrations. Program tropaia and awards ceremonies also will occur virtually in the days leading up to commencement.

Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business is pleased to share the 2021 commencement schedule:

Saturday, May 22, 2021

Undergraduate Tropaia, 11 a.m.

Sunday, May 23, 2021

Baccalaureate Mass, 10 a.m.
University Degree Conferral Ceremony, 12 p.m.
