Charles Skuba Named Executive Custom Programs Dean

Charles Skuba has been named Senior Associate Dean for Executive Custom Programs at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. In this role he will recruit and build quality executive programs tailored to the individual needs of organizations around the world.

Skuba has extensive experience in marketing, client relations, and business development. He enjoyed a long business career as a senior executive at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and as an international marketing consultant with numerous large global corporations. In addition, Skuba is an experienced administrator on the government side, having managed over 200 people as chief of staff for market access and compliance at the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration.

Skuba joined Georgetown McDonough in 2007 as an adjunct professor. In 2009, he became a member of the full-time faculty as a professor of the practice, specializing in international business and international marketing strategy. Teaching undergraduates, MBAs, and executive students, he has been an inspiration to his students, earning the Professor of the Year Student Choice award from the McDonough School of Business Undergraduate Academic Council in 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2015. With his love for the classroom, he will continue to teach undergraduates and Executive MBA students.

He holds an MBA in international business from George Washington University and a BSFS in international affairs from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
