Undergraduate Business Program Achieves High Marks

This fall, the Undergraduate Program at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business has received accolades from several rankings, including U.S. News & World Report, Business Insider, and Payscale.

The Undergraduate Program earned the No. 15 spot in the U.S. News Best Undergraduate Business Programs ranking and also ranked No. 9 for international business among all undergraduate business programs accredited by AACSB. Two years of data were used to calculate the peer assessment score.

Business Insider has ranked Georgetown McDonough as the No. 2 undergraduate program on its list of the top U.S. colleges to study business. Published as part of its Best Colleges in America report, the Business Insider ranking considered data from a reader survey, each school’s average SAT score, and the median starting salary of graduates.

Finally, Georgetown McDonough undergraduate program was ranked No. 2 on Payscale’s annual College Salary Report for the best schools for business majors. This report ranks over 1,000 colleges and universities by median alumni salaries.

“Everyone who works with our students strives to ensure that our undergraduate program is among the best in the world, from our dedicated faculty and staff, to alumni who donate their time to mentor our students,” said Norean R. Sharpe, senior associate dean and director of the Undergraduate Program. “We are proud to offer our students a program that emphasizes principled leadership and a global education to prepare them for success beyond the Hilltop.”
