Nina Simon

Professor Simon joined Georgetown in 2016 to teach Business Law. Prior to teaching at Georgetown, her legal career was focused primarily on representing low income, minority, and elderly clients. Prof. Simon represented these low income clients in mortgage litigation and other consumer disputes, most recently as litigation director at the Center for Responsible Lending, and for nearly 24 years as a Senior Attorney representing elderly and minority clients at AARP. She has also presented appellate arguments in cases in a number of federal and state appellate courts. Prof. Simon serves as a member of the SEIU Union Bargaining Committee from June 2020 to Summer 2021.
