Umit Yilmaz is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Finance at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. His research interests include Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Governance. Dr. Yilmaz's papers have been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. Dr. Yilmaz received a PhD in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute and USI Lugano in 2020 and joined Georgetown's faculty in 2022.
