Post-Doctoral Associate in Business of Sustainability at Georgetown University
The Business of Sustainability Initiative at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship. The Initiative focuses on the business approach to sustainability that creates long-term value by embracing opportunities and managing risks deriving from solving environmental and social developments. This post-doctoral opportunity aims to encourage early-career scholars to pursue research on topics related to the business of sustainability. The fellow will primarily be expected to contribute to the Initiative’s ongoing thought leadership by working with faculty associated with Initiative to collaborate on new research projects. While there are some well-defined projects under consideration by the faculty, there is flexibility to develop/explore other interesting research questions related to business of sustainability. In addition, this position will enable the post-doctoral fellow to engage with the Initiative’s ongoing efforts in convening and outreach with practitioners and policymakers. The candidate’s primary supervisor will be the Academic Director for the Initiative, Professor Vishal Agrawal.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. from a business-related discipline or expect to defend their dissertation by August 2025. We are seeking candidates with high potential or demonstrated ability to publish research on business of sustainability in top-tier research outlets. The appointment will be expected to begin in August 2025 and is expected to be for two years. However, a duration of only one year can also be considered.

Teaching Professor in Analytics
Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business (MSB) invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Teaching Professor in Analytics.
This position covers 15-credits of teaching courses with emphasis on statistics, business analytics, and data science in multiple programs across the MSB including the undergraduate program, the MBA (Full-time, Flex, Flex Online, and Executive), the Masters in Management, the Masters in Business Analytics, and the Masters in Global Real Assets.
In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will collaborate with faculty to make continuous improvements to the curriculum and courses, and to advise students and engage with student leadership. Candidates are also expected to participate in some service or committee assignments similar to other full-time teaching faculty in the school.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree (a Ph.D. is preferred) in Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
