Mary Yarbrough (MBA’94)

Mary is a Senior Advisor with Altman Solon. Her areas of expertise include corporate strategy and development, business segment P&L leadership, marketing and product management, product development, channel strategy, channel structure and channel operations, customer service operations and customer experience transformation.Mary is an accomplished executive with deep experience in building and developing new business lines and for leading business transformation initiatives in the telecom industry. Most recently, Mary served as Senior Vice President of Verizon’s $3B Small Business segment. In that role, she led and managed all aspects of strategic planning, marketing, product management, customer lifecycle management, sales channel strategy/execution and customer experience. Previously, Mary also held senior leadership positions in Verizon Telecom, responsible for Consumer Marketing and Sales, Global Sales Distribution, New Channel Development and New Product Development. Mary joined Verizon as a Corporate Development executive after a 6-year career in investment banking for the telecom, media and technology industries.

Mary holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. Mary lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband. They have 2 grown children.
