Lauren Apicella,
Associate Director of Alumni Relations

petrushkaAs Associate Director of Alumni Relations, Lauren Apicella oversees and manages alumni engagement, with programs like the Alumni Ambassador Program and signature events such as the Graduate Reunion Weekend, Undergraduate Reunion events, and the Global Summit. She works throughout Georgetown McDonough to improve communications and engagement with alumni. Prior to Georgetown McDonough, Lauren worked in nonprofit development and communications. She earned her B.A. from the College of William & Mary.




John “Drew” Petrushka (MA’14, MBA’20),
Program Manager, Alumni & External Relations

petrushkaJohn “Drew” Petrushka brings several years of experience in the private, non-profit, and media sectors to Georgetown McDonough. He conducts strategy implementation and internal management of the alumni and external relations program. He has played a key role in deepening the school’s connections to corporations, embassies, think tanks, and non-profit organizations while helping to double the number of alumni engagements hosted, sponsored, or promoted by the school. Drew earned an M.A. in Asian Studies as well as an International Business Diplomacy Honors Certificate from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2014, and currently is enrolled in Georgetown McDonough’s MBA program.
