Hometown: Silver Spring, Maryland

Why did you choose Georgetown?

I chose Georgetown because of its academic excellence, global reputation, invaluable resources, and diverse community. Having attended both a Jesuit high school and college, I wanted a program that would educate and develop my whole person. I was also attracted to the cohort model, which meant I took all my core classes with the same group of classmates. Shoutout to my Bulldogs!

What is your favorite memory or proudest moment from your time at Georgetown?

As the executive vice president of the Evening Student Government Association, I helped to lead the Evening MBA students to win back the McDonough Cup for the first time in three years. We beat the Full-time MBA class of 2020 by one point!

What is one of the most important lessons you have learned while at Georgetown?

As a part-time student, balance and sacrifice are necessary for survival — whether it was balancing class and extracurriculars, or sacrificing brunch to study. Also, community is key! I chose to surround myself with positive, kind, and generous people who will be my lifelong friends! #MSBaes

Is there a particular person that helped shaped your Georgetown experience?

Laura Erikson, associate director of MBA Programs, was the academic advisor for my cohort and my Evening Student Government advisor. I’m grateful for her support and guidance that kept me accountable when I was struggling the most.

What was your favorite class?

My favorite class was Coaching High Performance Teams with Evelyn Williams, teaching professor of management.

What are you most looking forward to as an alumnus?

I’m looking forward to being a part of the Hoya alumni community — something that was previously only a dream! I want to be a mentor and resource for others considering a Georgetown MBA. I wouldn’t have been successful without the support of others.
