Poets&Quants Ranks Georgetown EMBA 6th

In the 2021 Poets&Quants for Executives ranking of Executive MBA (EMBA) programs, Georgetown McDonough advanced to 6th overall, up from 17th in 2019.

“Georgetown’s Executive MBA prepares students to lead at the nexus of global business, policy, and government — in Washington, D.C., and around the world,” said Bardia Kamrad, senior associate dean for executive degree programs and academic coordinator of the EMBA program. 

The ranking is a composite score of the Economist, Financial Times, and U.S. News Executive MBA rankings from the past year. Georgetown’s program ranked in the top 10 among U.S. schools in both the Economist (10th) and Financial Times (5th) lists. 

“Our success is a testament to our community, which includes a diverse group of students with senior-level experience, representing numerous industries and backgrounds,” said Nita Swinsick, assistant dean for executive degree admissions. “And our community is one that supports one another for a lifetime, from close-knit cohorts to executive career services to lifelong learning opportunities.”
