QS Ranks Georgetown Programs Among Best in the World

Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business was recognized as a top business school in the QS Graduate Management Education rankings, including U.S. rankings of fourth for the Master’s in Management (MiM), 11th for the M.S. in Finance (MSF), 12th for the M.S. in Business Analytics (MSBA), and 22nd for the Full-time MBA.

The QS ranking evaluates programs across five key dimensions: employability, measured through global employer surveys and career outcomes; value for money, a measure of the degree ROI based on factors such as salary growth and expected career progression; thought leadership, drawing on the QS academic survey of faculty scholars worldwide; return on investment; alumni outcomes; and class and faculty diversity.

“The strong performance of all of Georgetown McDonough’s graduate programs in this year’s QS rankings is a testament to the value and reputation of our academic offerings. These results reflect the school’s commitment to rigorous and innovative research and curricula, immersive global experiences, and comprehensive career support. Most importantly, they highlight the caliber and global readiness of our students, who leave McDonough exceptionally well-prepared to drive meaningful impact in their careers.”

Master’s in Management

For its first entry into the QS ranking, Georgetown’s MiM earned a spot in the top four nationally and 27th globally. Within the listed categories, Georgetown McDonough placed first in the United States for alumni outcomes, which measures the professional success of the school’s alumni network, and first for its international representation and gender ratios among students and faculty.

With a focus on dedicated career support, the program also placed in the top five for value for money and sixth for employability, as well as for the strength of the school’s reputation for thought leadership and faculty expertise.

“We are proud to be recognized as one of the top MiM programs – both here in the United States and across the world,” said Kenneth Sawka, academic director of the MiM program at Georgetown McDonough. “This placement reflects not only the strength and rigor of our curriculum but also the global readiness of our cohort, whose experiences and perspectives prepare them to lead effectively in today’s interconnected business world.”

Designed for students who recently earned a bachelor’s degree, the MiM degree is a 10-month, full-time, STEM-designated program that helps rising professionals develop the business, management, and technology skills necessary to succeed in a variety of industries.
