AJ Brancaccio (MBA’02)

AJ Brancaccio serves as CEO and founder of Financial Capital Network (FCN). Launched in 2021 as a joint venture with MSCI, Inc., FCN is an innovative financial technology company transforming the alternative capital raising ecosystem. FCN delivers efficiency, discovery, and transparency to the alternative investment community allowing for a more holistic approach to the capital allocation process.

Brancaccio began his career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch and continued to the fixed income trading desk at Salomon Smith Barney. With his ability to understand sophisticated complex investment strategies and effectively communicate to the investment community, Brancaccio became one of the top sales professionals globally at MSCI, formerly RiskMetrics. As a trusted partner to investment leaders, AJ regularly developed new products to meet his clients’ demands in the ever-changing market and regulatory environments.

With over 20 years of institutional sales experience, Brancaccio has mastered the art of developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the investment community. His experience in generating financial returns and risk analytics revealed an opportunity to transform an alternative capital investment raising process, giving rise to FCN with the full backing of MSCI.

Brancaccio completed his Bachelor of Science in Business at Fordham University and went on to earn his MBA at Georgetown University where he currently serves on the MBA Alumni Advisory Council. Brancaccio lives in Garden City, New York, with his wife and two children.
