Allan Eberhart

Allan Eberhart is a Professor of Finance and the Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in Finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He is the Founding Director of the Master of Science in Finance (MSF), the school’s first technology-intensive program, and the Master of Science in Global Finance (MGF), the university’s first program for working professionals in India. He also serves as an inaugural Director for the BondBloxx exchange traded funds and as a Faculty Associate with the Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy.

In addition to his role with BondBloxx, his industry experience includes work as an Associated Consultant at A.T. Kearney, as well as advising firms including Ashmore Group, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Standard and Poor’s, and T. Rowe Price.

His research has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Accounting Research. He has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Banking and Finance and the Journal of Financial Research, and has written op-eds for Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, Fortune, and the Wall Street Journal. He received the Georgetown University School of Business Research Award.

He has taught across undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, MGF, MSF, and executive education programs and has received multiple teaching awards. He has also been recognized in Businessweek’s ranking of favorite business school professors.

Prior to his current positions, he served as Senior Associate Dean for the MSF Program, Senior Associate Dean for Technology-Intensive Education, founding Academic Director of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Executive Education Program, and Finance Area Coordinator, all at Georgetown McDonough. He was also a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
