Ashish Raval currently serves as President & CEO of Synoptic Data PBC (Public Benefit Corporation). Synoptic Data is a privately held company that operates the largest cloud based digital platform to provide real-time environmental (weather observations) data to NationalMesonet Program, NOAA, commercial companies and governments across the world.
Mr. Raval has an MBA from Georgetown University, an MS degree in Electrical Engineering and a BS degree in Instrumentation Engineering. Mr. Raval has been working exclusively over 25+ years in the environmental field, and involved in providing products and services to water, wastewater and weather to governments and customers around the world. He is Vice-Chair of HMEI.org and currently also serves on ETTAC 2022-2024 charter. He has also served on previous two ETTAC 2018-2020 and 2020-2022 charters.
Mr. Raval started his career as an Instrumentation Engineer in process controls with Walk, Haydel & Associates, A Dames & Moore Co., and then transitioned to Applications Engineering role in 1997 to Sutron Corporation which was acquired later by Danaher Corporation in 2015.
