Gary is an operations executive and organizational change agent with over 25 years of telecom and professional services experience mobilizing people, technology, and processes to drive operational excellence, customer success, and business/technology transformation. His professional experience crosses commercial, federal, civil, state, and local government markets. Additionally, Gary served on the board of Iron Bow Technologies, which serves clients in the Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets.
As a change specialist, Gary has supported private equity investors and corporations revitalize various businesses. Over nearly two decades at AT&T, he rose through the ranks leading initiatives in mobility, financial operations, customer service, business strategy, software engineering, and technology management. One of his rewarding achievements was co-founding AT&T Partner Exchange, an award winning reseller program that redefined industry collaboration.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Gary’s executive expertise extends to investment and consulting. He served as an Operating Partner for Grain Management, a leading private investment firm specializing in broadband infrastructure, and as Managing Partner at Norval LLC, where he advises technology and broadband enterprises on strategic growth and innovation.
A champion of education and leadership development, Gary chairs the Committee for Impactful Relationships for C-Level Executives (CIRCLE) at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, serves on the Board of Visitors at Bowie State University and previously served as chair of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library. He has also held board positions with various nonprofit and corporate organizations, contributing to initiatives that promote business success and community impact.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honors from Bowie State University, a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
