John Bottimore currently provides aerospace and defense business development consulting to Global Defense Growth Advisors LLC. Previously, he led the international business development function at BAE Systems, Inc. He was responsible for interfacing with the sectors and group business development to grow Inc.’s international business. John has almost 30 years of defense industry experience, including assignments in Japan and Switzerland. Bottimore is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He attended university on a four-year Navy ROTC scholarship and then served as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy for four years. Bottimore obtained an MBA from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management Professional. Bottimore is married with two children.
