Tahir Yaqub is Managing Director & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Portfolio Companies at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). Global Infrastructure Partners is a leading global independent infrastructure fund manager with over $100B Assets Under Management (AUM).
Tahir has over 25 years of leadership experience in a broad range of Technology and Cybersecurity disciplines within the Aerospace & Defense, Engineering & Construction, and Private Equity industries. He spent fifteen years of his career at Northrop Grumman Corporation, five years at Bechtel Corporation, and the past five years at GIP where the team he leads manages Digital, Information Technology (IT) / Operational Technology (OT), and Cybersecurity strategy and operations for over forty portfolio companies globally.
He received his bachelor’s in arts degree from the University of Maryland and his master’s in business administration from Georgetown University (EMBA20 class of 2015).
