Yunan Ji

Yunan Ji is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Her research focuses on the design and regulation of health care markets. Her work has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the New England Journal of Medicine, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the Journal of the American Medical Association, among others, and has received awards from the American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon) and the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE). She has received research grants from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and her studies have been cited by major media outlets including Bloomberg, the Boston Globe, the New York Times, Politico, and the Washington Post. Ji is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS). Ji received her Ph.D. in Health Policy and Economics from Harvard University in 2022 and her B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Brown University in 2014.
