Each incoming first year class tends to number about 300 students; we also enjoy each fall a group of about 50 transfer students from across the country, as well as, several international colleges and universities. The undergraduate population of The MSB is approximately 1350 students, 72 full time faculty, 60 adjunct and visiting faculty, and numerous administrators and staff personnel. The student population is representative of all 50 states and 50+ foreign countries! We are truly an international school.
Admissions: As a prospective student, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the undergraduate admissions process and other pertinent aspects of the Georgetown community.
Curriculum: The Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business is "A First Class Business School in a World-Class Capital," and, as such we offer the Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree. Within the curriculum there is a sizable liberal arts component, coupled with the requisite (core) business courses and the specific courses in one of six majors - Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing and Operations & Information Management.
Faculty: The MSB faculty is nationally and internationally recognized. They teach at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive program levels, as well as serve as consultants and experts in their various fields. It is not uncommon to see our faculty on television in response to current economic, business, and other affairs. They are well published and enjoy their various exchanges and encounters with students.
Student Programs: As a relatively small, private community, Georgetown University and The MSB pride themselves in the personal touch we extend to our students. There is a vibrant Georgetown community present on campus and abroad. Our community extends well beyond the dormitories, the classrooms, and Healy Gates. There is a definite relationship between our students, the faculty, the administrators and staff, and the Hilltop; a relationship that starts the day you arrive on campus and grows throughout your life.
