Meet Our McDonough Student Ambassadors
Meet this year’s McDonough Student Ambassadors, who represent the undergraduate and graduate experience at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, highlight their academic and professional journey on the Hilltop, and facilitate student engagement within the broader McDonough community.
The McDonough Student Ambassadors span seven different degree programs and include a diverse array of personal and professional experiences – from student-athletes to veterans to executives to sustainability advocates and more.
Meet the 2024-2025 McDonough Student Ambassadors and learn more about why they joined the Hoya community:
Aidan Carroll (MS-GRA’25)
Aidan Carroll (MS-GRA’25) spent the last four years on the Hilltop and graduated from the Walsh School of Foreign Service in May with a major in global business and a minor in French. Originally from Milton, Massachusetts, Carroll chose to pursue his passion for energy infrastructure through the M.S. in Global Real Assets – a unique collaborative program between the McDonough School of Business and the Steers Center for Global Real Estate. While completing his degree, Carroll is also playing on the Georgetown men’s lacrosse team.
Tosin Fagbami (BGA’26)
Tosin Fagbami (BGA’26) is a junior in the Dikran Izmirlian Program in Business and Global Affairs with minors in economics and history. Fagbami is dedicated to community involvement and sustainable practices. She is involved in a wide variety of activities on campus, but Fagbami’s biggest commitment is her role as the chief financial officer of Students of Georgetown, Inc. (the Corp). In her free time, Fagbami loves to try new restaurants in D.C. and visit all the museums when possible!
Billy Hayes (EMBA’25)
Billy Hayes is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Officer who now works as a program manager at Logistics Management Institute (LMI). His areas of expertise include international relations and national security, supply chain risk management, leadership, operations, advanced air mobility, and international business development. Hayes serves as the marketing and admissions representative for the Executive MBA Class of 2025, in addition to his role as a McDonough Student Ambassador. He is also an adjunct professor at the National Intelligence University. Hayes holds an M.A. in International Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Utah, and is conversational in Mandarin and Korean.
Andrea Lizarzaburu (MS-ESM’25)
Andrea Lizarzaburu (MS-ESM’25) is a passionate advocate for sustainability and diversity in business. Currently pursuing the M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management – a joint program between Georgetown McDonough, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Earth Commons Institute – Lizarzaburu brings extensive experience implementing international development projects across Latin America and Africa. She has led initiatives supporting small and medium enterprises, as well as advancing diversity and sustainability within global supply chains. Lizarzaburu has collaborated with organizations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations, and IDB Invest, and held senior roles at WEConnect International. Recently, she has been consulting on capacity-building projects, focusing on supplier diversity and private-sector engagement.
Aspen Nguyen (B’27)
Aspen Nguyen (B’27) is a sophomore in McDonough’s Undergraduate Program from Dallas, Texas, studying accounting and marketing. In addition to being a McDonough Student Ambassador, Nguyen is involved in the McDonough Student Advisory Board, the Georgetown Marketing Association, The Hoya, and the Georgetown Admissions Ambassadors Program. In her free time – when she’s not struggling with The New York Times games – Nguyen can be found watching the latest F1 race or searching for the best chai latte in D.C.
Andrew Singh (MSBA’25)
Andrew Singh (MSBA’25) is a student in the M.S. in Business Analytics program at Georgetown McDonough. He works as a business intelligence analyst II in the technology, strategy, governance, and analytics group at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he designs and develops executive-level dashboards that report on core infrastructure metrics for hospital leadership. In his spare time, Singh is passionate about volunteering with various nonprofit organizations across New York City, where he supports high school students and recent graduates in their career development as a coach and data analytics instructor. He also enjoys exploring small coffee shops in the city and traveling to new countries.
Justin Thompson (MiM’25)
Justin Thompson (MiM’25) is a student in the M.S. in Management (MiM) program from Knoxville, Tennessee. Thompson’s favorite part about McDonough and the MiM program is the community’s diversity. He feels the program encourages students to adopt a global mindset in internships, careers, and leadership positions. Thompson is a huge college basketball and football fan. You can find him cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers (and the Hoyas, don’t worry) every weekend.
