Important Update on Georgetown McDonough’s 2020 Gradate Alumni Reunion
Postponement of Georgetown McDonough’s Graduate Alumni Reunion
June 26, 2020
We hope this message finds you and your families safe and well.
We are reaching out regarding your 2020 Georgetown McDonough Graduate Alumni Reunion Weekend, originally scheduled to take place this October. In consultation with your classmates on the Reunion Planning Committee, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Georgetown McDonough Graduate Alumni Reunion Weekend in light of the continued public health risks presented by COVID-19.
Your health and well-being are Georgetown McDonough’s highest priority. Given the guidance from the university relating to large gatherings in the fall, we will need to move the celebration to a later date when we can gather safely. Along with the committee members, we are exploring potential options for your reunion, and we will let you know as soon as a new date has been identified.
Deciding to postpone Reunion Weekend was extremely difficult. The celebration of our reunion classes is always one of our favorite moments of the year. We know that many of you were excited to reconnect with friends and classmates, and we share your disappointment in delaying this gathering. We look forward to the time we can welcome you back to campus to celebrate you and your achievements.
