The Career Curricula and Data Analytics teams support specialty master’s students in their initial summer career curriculum and throughout their degree program at McDonough. These teams provide programming on career skills, ongoing student communications, and employment outcome analysis to supplement and bolster each program’s customized 1-on-1 career coaching services.
Rachel Smith
Associate Director, Career Curricula & Communications
Rachel designs and delivers career programming and communications for the MSB Career Center, primarily focusing on specialized degree programs and providing support to other programs in MSB. She most recently served as a Program Advisor and Assistant Director in the MBA Program Office at Georgetown University. Before that, she worked at The American University, first in the Center for Community Engagement and Service and later as an academic coordinator for an international student program.
Rachel holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY and an M.A. in International Training and Education from The American University.
Bhavin Jain
Data Analyst
Bhavin has a background in marketing and business data analysis with experience as a marketing intern and business data analyst at a travel company. He played a key role in developing an exploratory data analysis tool during his tenure as a data science intern at Findability Sciences and has contributed to the non-profit sector as a volunteer Power BI data analyst for Passion for Life. At Georgetown, he supports McDonough’s graduate programs in analyzing student career engagement and outcomes.
Bhavin holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai and an M.S. in Data Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, further enhancing his expertise in data analysis, machine learning and business intelligence.
Kasia Kurleto-Spadano
Recruitment and Events Coordinator
Kasia supports McDonough’s graduate programs with logistical coordination, events planning, and operational assistance.
Kasia graduated from the Jagiellonian University with master’s degree in Jewish studies. During her education at the university Kasia received scholarships to study both in Prague, Czech Republic and in Israel at the universities in Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. While doing that she gained a unique perspective and an international experience.
In her previous role as an executive assistant at a non-profit organization she was focused on managing educational programs and organizing events.
Kasia was born and raised in Krakow, Poland. Before relocating to the DMV area, she lived near Boston, Massachusetts.
