Founded in 2005, the Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) has a longstanding tradition as a destination for individuals to learn the research-based techniques and skillsets to advance their organizations and their careers. Building upon that success, the 32-credit degree program for executives is now offered to organizations seeking to customize the degree to elevate their workforce through an in-depth study of the art and science of effective leadership behaviors.
While EML was offered for nearly 20 years as a traditional enrollment program, it also has seen success in this customized format for organizations as varied as the D.C. Why Customize the EML?
The mission of the Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) is to develop principled leaders who are steeped in an understanding of scientific process and know how to use evidence to make decisions when confronted with complex problems for themselves, their organizations, and their communities.
Working with the McDonough Custom Executive Education team, the program’s curriculum can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your organization. To date, the school has successfully graduated more than 10 cohorts of students in programs customized for the D.C. Public Schools and the Qatar Leadership Centre.
