MBA Application Tip: Preparing Your Video Essay
The video essay is a crucial component of your application. The Georgetown MBA program requires two essays when submitting your Full-time, Flex, or Flex MBA Online application: one written and one video essay. The video essay helps the Admissions Committee learn more about your interests and passions outside of your professional experience.
The video essay is your chance to showcase your personality, unique qualities, and the value you would bring to the class cohort. It should offer the Admissions Committee fresh insights into who you are beyond your resume. Use this opportunity to share something meaningful about yourself that isn’t covered elsewhere in your application.
Anne Kilby, associate dean of MBA admissions, shares tips on how to best approach the video essay component.
