Coindesk Names Georgetown a Top University for Blockchain

Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business was named a top school for blockchain by Coindesk, a media platform that focuses on how cryptocurrencies and digital assets are contributing to the evolution of the global financial system. The school was 18th of 46 top U.S. colleges and universities on the list.

The ranking examines a school’s blockchain offerings, academic reputation, employment and industry outcomes, and scholarly impact.  

At Georgetown McDonough, the Center for Financial Markets and Policy coordinates the development of new fintech and blockchain courses, develops research in this area, and convenes conferences and events for scholars, market participants, policy makers, investors, and corporate leaders.
